<p>At the end of the training the delegate will be able to describe: How the installation activity may affect the safe operation of the railway What procedures need to be followed to ensure operational and personal safety is maintained during the work. How to avoid personal injury during the work. What each of the component parts being installed contributes to the overall operation of the system. What tools are required to complete the work and what equipment calibration is required.</p>

Audience
This course is designed to train persons required to assemble signalling systems, sub system component parts and install and terminate wires and cables. Before attending this training a person should have successfully completed Signal Engineering Maintenance 1 and have at least 3 months workplace experience or had at least 6 months workplace experience in a Signal Engineering Team.
