Engineering Assurance for Temporary Works
The purpose of this training is to give an overview and understanding to Building and Civil Engineers who are required to provide engineering assure for Temporary Works as part of their role. The training covers: What constitutes Temporary Works, Legislation, regulation and standards covering Temporary Works, Key roles and responsibilities for managing Temporary Works, How to identify, evaluate and mitigate Temporary Works risks.
The training is set in the context of a rail environment and provides delegates with the opportunity to learn through case studies and explore lessons learnt from incidents caused as a result of Temporary Works. Delegates should read Safe by Deign guidance note on temporary works and buildability prior to attending this course.
