Network Rail Senior Leaders Programme
<p>The programme is made up of 9 classroom based modules, 3 virtual classroom sessions and will also require some self-directed learning. The Senior Leadership Programme is will require a significant time commitment. The programme consists of classroom modules (9 days), virtual classroom sessions and self-directed learning. It focuses on the following key leadership areas for the business: Safety Leadership, Personal Leadership Capability, Performance Conversations, Leading Communication and A Customer Driven approach. The WebEx sessions contain the theory and models which support the programme. The classroom sessions consist of 2 core modules, a communication module and an optional module. Core 1- focuses on defining and creating your own leadership style and approach. It includes personal diagnostics and the opportunity to put the theory into practice. Core 2 - continues your experiential learning, builds on the virtual classroom sessions and focuses on leading and motivating others. The Communication Module covers all forms of communication and helps you discover and develop your communication skills. The optional module is the final part of your course.</p>
This programme is designed for senior managers throughout Network Rail who wish to improve management and leadership effectiveness in their current senior role, or who aspire to move on to the next level. This programme uses tools like emotional intelligence and advance communications skills to develop leaders who engage, motivate, inspire and care. All elements are under pinned by the Network Rail behaviours. Typically band 3.
