Project Management, Planning and Control in a Competitive World
<p>Develops knowledge of effective project control and planning processes for Network Rail Infrastructure Projects. Includes how to price a project and keep control of project scope, timescales, costs and risks in a commercially competitive environment. The course explores the ability to predict project costs and timescales during the various project phases (from opportunity, proposal, contract negotiation, mobilisation, delivery through to closeout). It also looks at the importance of consistency and collaboration from project management, planning, risk management, estimating and commercial functions.</p>
For those working on infrastructure projects within Network Rail. Learners should have a prior understanding of basic project management processes and have completed the Introduction to Association of Project Management training course.
