<p>An interactive, practical course providing an introduction to Engineering Safety Management, covering the lifecycle from initial safety planning through to operation and maintenance, focusing on issues associated with achieving safety on the railway. Includes developments in the rail industry, including the Common Safety Method (CSM) and developing Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) guidance, good practice principles for managing safety on rail projects. There is an optional 30 minute optional examination at the end of the course.</p>
