<p>Overview of SSI system architecture</p>
<p>Appreciation of SSI interlocking/ data functions</p>
<p>SSI signal and points module functionality</p>
<p>Allocating SSI TFMs to achieve required I/O needs of the system</p>
<p>How SSI interfaces with axle counters, and the associated data complexity</p>
<p>How SSI handles boundaries and fringes using Internal data link and TFM/ Relay interfaces, and associated data complexity</p>
<p>SSI theoretical and practical capacity limitations</p>
<p>Overview of equipment housings, power supplies and data link requirements</p>
<p>Next generation CBI interlockings, comms networks and I/O devices - Compare and contrast with SSI</p>
